LE MARS (AP) -- High school seniors in Le Mars, Iowa, sued to prevent their school from denying them a moment of silence during graduation ceremonies.
"A moment of silence can be lawful, but a moment of silence also can be unlawful," said school district attorney Jim Hanks. "In Le Mars, it has not been an issue. There hasn't been a moment of silence in Le Mars the past two years."

A moment of silence...? To sue over something like that is petty and idiotic. Almost as bad as those lawsuits that went on against fast food places for "making people obese" or the coffee being too hot.
