• My car's radiator outlet sometimes comes loose and needs to be jammed in again, the solder seal having broken. I know when this happens because water sprays the power steering belt which slips and gives a high-pitched squeal.

  
  

  GM's engineers couldn't have devised a better warning system if they'd been trying.
