What did G.W. do before even spending a year on his latest job???? Went on vacation....then the WTC blew up & he complained about not having enough intelligence!!!!
I dunno about IQ, but I usually loose a few brain cells when I'm on holiday!
The thought again that IQ tests don't measure what I value as intelligence once again tickles my synapses. The IQ lost would correspond to some of the edginess that makes quick judgements/logical calculations possible? Is that always a positive trait? My instinct is that it operates best in an environment of flattend emotions, or that is *my* experience... trying to find what works for me. But I spend my evenings trying to train right brain activity, and my mornings trying to relocate the left brain under my own thick skull. So if IQ declines on vacation, well, use it or lose it. But sometimes you may need to give it a rest, and reevaluate priorities. Who cares? I know I needed the vacation I'm taking. It's too easy to commit socially acceptable suicide by denying those parts of our personalities that don't register on the IQ radar.
Okay, last year, I was like traveling everywhere for like about 14 days. So that must mean that my IQ was 145 because my IQ test taken after the vacation was 125. Wow... I am scared.. Boredom could affect our intelligence. How? Brain rusts? I mean, a bit of fresh air could really do you some good.
