The civilized way to beat your children?

It is shaped like a billy club, about a foot long, covered in high-density fabric. . .
"When using as an alternative discipline device for children, do not use a clubbing motion. Skim the skin with an adequate inward force with just the surface of the tip."
"Testing within the recommended amount of contact with this product did not produce any welts, bruising, chafing or any sign of trauma visible to the skin other than redness."
"It's really just a harmless way of getting a small child's attention"

Bloody heck!! that doesn't sound very harmless to me!
yuck.
That's just sick!
I'm all for discipline. I blame the lack of it for the downfall of society.
what horror!
Just now I've finished my book on Toxic Parents..!
um...yeah.
invent new ways to beat your kids, that's fine. just, you know, don't try to enter into a same-sex union. because that will destroy society.
just checked the link and read the article... riiggghhhhttttt... the B-Stik, "Nothing but the sting!"... nothing but another way for a friggin' breeder (as opposed to actual parent) to abuse their child. just this girl's opinion.
Hmm... I don't know. but that doesn't sound good.
When i was your age, i was whipped daily with a two by four with a nail in it... and you never heard ME complain! Thats the trouble with young people these days! No paddling!
i could see an increasing trend of children taking their parents to court.
by the way, my parents almost never hit/slapped me. my older brother bore most of the brunt - poor thing!
