KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) They creep quietly beneath bed sheets in the darkness of night, in search of a blood feast . . .

"An insect is living beside you while you sleep, it withdraws three times its body weight in your blood, it's a psychological concern." "They inject a chemical that numbs you," he said. "They feed on you and you don't even know it."

  • Why do you do this to me?  You always post the kind of stuff that's going to give me nightmares.  Blargh.

  • Actually, if the fact that they feed at night isn't creepy enough. . .  These cute lil' guys are capable of living up to 6months without feeding, and can inhabit the tiniest of cracks and crevices.  You could have them and never know it, even if you are a clean person!
