This is the true cost of War
"An equation: 40,000 dead young men = 3,000 tons of bone and flesh, 124,000 pounds of brain matter, 50,000 gallons of blood, 1,840,000 years of life that will never be lived, 100,000 children who will never be born."
"Do we scream in the night when it touches our dreams? No, We don't dream about it because we don't think about it; we don't think about it because we don't care about it."
Dalton Trumbo

we dont care about it because we never stop to think about it...
and so on...
have a nice night!
WOW..... i hate war. this is the price that our goverments are so happy to pay... but what in the hell do we buy with it?
is it wrong that a mathmatical equation made me want to cry?
not to mention that the true cost of war is even worse when we come to realise a bigger equation is formulating on the other side.
but hang on, we don't think about them - the other side - because we only care about what happens to our people.
(cynicism bit me)
