  • Is Harry Potter causing headaches?

A Washington doctor warned that he has seen three children complain of headaches caused by the physical stress of relentlessly plowing through the epic 870-page adventure.

Each had spent many hours reading “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix..”

After ruling out other potential causes, Bennett told his patients to give their eyes a rest.

“The obvious cure for this malady — that is, taking a break from reading — was rejected by two of the patients.”

  • “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” caused me headaches too.  You get into the book, and especially with nothing really happening inthe first 500 pages, you keep reading hoping something will happen.

All I can say is TRUE THAT!!

  • Good grief. That applies to any great book. People & their silliness…

  • It gave me a headache, and I haven’t even bloody read it.

  • I heard that on the radio this morning! I’m happy to say that I read it headache-free.
