Three years ago, Zell Miller called John Kerry “one of this nation’s authentic heroes”
... As for John Kerry, Miller has found kind words for Democratic presidential nominee, calling him "one of this nation's authentic heroes" during the Georgia Democratic Party's Jefferson Jackson Dinner three years ago. "Early in his Senate career in 1986, Jo hn signed on to the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Deficit Reduction Bill, and he fought for balanced budgets before it was considered politically correct for Democrats to do so. John has worked to strengthen our military, reform public education, boost the econom y and protect the environment.” http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/19/zell.zingers.ap/index.html
Dear Sen. Zell Miller,
You've been voting with the Republicans and George W. Bush for so long, it's easy to forget you were elected as a Democrat. Now you're giving George W. Bush political cover by speaking at the Republican National Convention, after he's spent the last four years polarizing our nation with his policies. If you believe in the positions and policies of the Republican party so much, then stop pretending to be a Democrat. Switch parties and register as a Republican.

He needs to be a Republican and Maine's two senators plus Rhode Island's Chaffee have to become Democrats.
