  • THE WITNESS OF THE VICTIMS

    ==========================

    Witness No.1

    A Fifteen-year-Old Student from Pennsylvania

    "I was following the Lord wholeheartedly until we switched churches and I was invited to the new youth group. I had a conviction against rock music, but as I was surrounded by it, my beliefs were corrupted. This music eventually let to rebellion and moral failures. The Lord has gained victory in my life now, but the music still brings on rebellion if I listen to it. Please get rid of this music and play melodious, harmonious music!"

  • Dear Dingus,

    We were part of ATI for a while, but stopped in large part because of stuff like that.  Although the IBLP does some stuff that helps people, they do some pretty ridiculous stuff, too.

    Still, though, if you ever get the chance, read The Pineapple Story.  It's really good, and challenging, even if you don't agree with it.

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Sincerely,

    Thomas

  • Okay, one question...

    WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY THAT ROCK MUSIC IS BAD?! Okay, okay, okay, if you want to split hairs it does say that ANYTHING that isn't glorifying God is not worth your time. So some rock music is not supposed to be listened to. But all of it isn't bad. It's kinda like the dancing thing... No dancing right? because it makes you think sinful things......like SEX! No dancing period, right? Well, what about David? he danced for God! Think he went to hell? i don't think so...

    Just a question...
    More a thought really...
