• Firefighters Protest Appearance in Gay Pride Parade

  
  

  PROVIDENCE, R.I.  — Firefighters who say they were ordered to ride in last year's gay pride parade, despite their moral and religious objections, are threatening to sue the city unless officials stop forcing municipal employees to march in the parade.
