Perle at charity said to have terror links

WASHINGTON, Jan. 29 (UPI)- Richard Perle -- who as chairman of the Pentagon's civilian Defense Policy Board advocated the invasion of Iraq -- spoke at Saturday's fundraiser for the Iranian-American Community of Northern Virginia. That group is thought by U.S. intelligence agencies to have ties to Mujahedin-e Khalq and has been listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department since 1997.

that's just weird
ha ha...
This doesn't make sense, unless he is trying to cuddle up to another exile group and find another jewel like Chalabi in Iraq. I think Perle was one of the people responsible for depending so heavily upon Chalabi for predictions that we would be accepted with open arms in Iraq. Also, for putting Chalabi in the driver's seat with the national assembly.
