LONDON (Reuters) - A leading British brain surgeon has been suspended from work following a dispute over a bowl of soup.
Dr Terence Hope was sent home from the Queen's Medical Center in Nottingham, where newspapers say there is a 39-day waiting list for brain operations, after being accused of taking extra croutons without paying, hospital sources said on Monday.
"He was due to operate today on three patients. Their surgery has had to be postponed."
Hope, 57, who has been working as a neurosurgeon in Nottingham for 18 years, is an expert in traumatic brain injuries.

Like...a handful? Or a whole bag?
If he can't be trusted with croutons...well...how can he be trusted with a frontal lobe?
From your comment: No, I haven't, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to check it out.
And the content of that article is ridiculous.
Fruit basket was a good guess but nope thats not it

why don't you like texas? i actually miss it. it has a uniqueness that i haven't found anywhere else.
i get to be in texas though - only for an hour when i make a transfer at DFW
) just enough time to buy something dumb from the texas tourist-ish things at the airport.
I guess he'll have to switch to a hospital with a salad bar.
