    Four-year-old in court for fraud

A court in Bangladesh has granted bail to a four-year-old boy who appeared before it on a fraud charge.

It's believed that Abu Zafar Al Nasib is the youngest person to have come before the courts in Bangladesh.

The New Age newspaper says the boy sat on his father's lap at the magistrates court in Bogra during his appeal for bail.

Nasib was granted bail in exchange of his thumb impression on the bail paper.

Nasib is one of a group of eight people accused of fraud in a land related case.

  • Whatever happened to the age of accountability?

  • Well, I'm done with my paper and I have placed you in the fifth stage of moral reasoning based on what my psych book says. Your responses were the hardest to place but the stage is called  social contract orientation. People at this level imagine alternatives to their social order. This is usually because it sucks.

  • the car is... gone.  ::sighs::

not that it was beyond repair, but beyond financial reason for repair.  the cost would have cost more than the car itself.  so it got junked and we got a new car.
