Jail inmates fail to return after Hurricane Charley
By:Preston Rudie
Clearwater, Florida - When Pinellas County officials released 256 inmates last week, most were told to return in four days. But as of Thursday night, 27 had still not come back.
The inmates were released when it appeared Hurricane Charley was headed for the Bay area.

um - and someone is surprised to hear this?!?
Hell, I didn't even know my stupid jail did that. I live in Pinellas County and I am very surprised that ANY of the inmates came back.
Now that's just silly.
